Interreg Germany - Denmark | Call 2024
Interreg Germany - Denmark | Call 2024
The German-Danish cooperation between the southern parts of Denmark and Schleswig-Holstein has a long tradition and at the same time varies. The current program area and thus the funding region for Interreg Germany-Danmark includes the Syddanmark region and the Sjælland region on the Danish side and the districts of Nordfriesland, Ostholstein, Plön, Rendsburg-Eckernförde and Schleswig-Flensburg on the German side as well as the independent cities of Flensburg, Kiel and Lübeck and Neumünster.
The 2024 call refers to priorities 2, 3 and 4.
Priority 2: Against the background of the Green Deal and the EU's political goal of making Europe climate-neutral by 2050, projects with the “A Green Region” priority are intended to contribute to the green change in our program region. Based on the strengths of the region, three relevant specific goals were selected, each pursuing its own thematic approach.
Priority 3: The main objective of the “An Attractive Region” priority is to develop better conditions for a good quality of life, including: by strengthening the attractiveness of the program region for the benefit of citizens and visitors in the sense of promoting social and economic development.
Priority 4: The priority “A functional region” aims to improve strategic and institutional capacities as well as the framework conditions for cross-border cooperation and reduce obstacles. The framework conditions include laws and regulations, culture and traditions or simply a lack of cross-border awareness, information, knowledge and interest.
